Main objective

The main objective of the project is to establish a certification system, up-skill and certify remote educators, edu. managers and support staff. The purpose is to boost the EU’s digital transformation, improve the digital readiness of the EU to be more resilient to the crippling effects of pandemics and similar unexpected events, which live collaboration, education and work.

Objectives

1. To gather best practices of the remote edu. work and prepare reference process models (policies & rules). Concrete results: Handbook with best practices, curriculum, syllabus, skillscard definition.

2. To design innovative training methods tailored for remote educators, edu. managers and edu. support staff. Concrete results: Handbook with innovative training methods for teachers, managers and workers.

3. To implement training materials and deploy them using online and mobile classrooms. Concrete results: digital library with training materials, e-learning content, an e-learning platform.

4. To test and verify the efficiency of the learning methods, materials and innovative online/mobile learning platform. Concrete results: tested e-learning platform, performed online and live courses, 200 educated pilot learners and 10 pilot organizations.

5. To design an accreditation and certification scheme for remote educators. Concrete results: ECQA accredited course, certification system, certification committee, issued certificates for ‘remote educator’, ‘remote manager’, ‘remote administrator’, ‘remote worker’, ‘remote-friendly organization/company’, ECQA accredited training and certification organizations.
