What?

BICERO Ltd. is offering a 3-month online training programme EU Project Manager to 10 participants from Ukraine (or recently relocated), free of charge (regular price per person: 1300€, the total value of the donation: 13000€), starting in June 2022.

The training programme includes our Exclusive Certified package: ECQA accredited course, access to our e-learning platform, 6 live webinars with experts, coaching, support and feedback, training materials (more than 500 pages), EU projects related templates, examples of good practices of EU projects, ECQA exam and certification.

At the end of the course, you'll be able to identify appropriate EU funds for your project idea, prepare an EU project proposal and manage an EU project.

Why?

Following the recent Russian aggression on Ukraine and the destruction of the country & its people, Ukraine recently applied for EU membership.

In the near future, Ukraine will need more skilled professionals to help rebuild the country, people who can prepare project proposals for EU funds and manage EU projects.

UA already participates in some EU programmes such as Horizon, Interreg and similar as an associate partner. With the EU membership application, UA will get access to pre-accession assistance EU funds. When UA becomes an EU member, it will get access to all EU funds.

With our initiative, we are adding a tiny contribution to rebuilding the UA society.

Who is the course for?

Participants from Ukraine (10 seats) who wish to learn how to get EU funds and manage EU projects like Erasmus+, Horizon Europe and more).

Especially for

  • Participants who want to become EU project assistants, EU project partners, EU project apprentices and others who want to learn about the complete body of knowledge of EU project management.

  • EU project coordinators, managers and consultants, who want to cover gaps in their knowledge, validate their existing knowledge and obtain a recognised certificate.

Prerequisites

  • UA citizenship, currently living in UA or abroad (refugees).

  • Education: 1st level Bologna equivalent programme completed (2/3-year tertiary edu.).

  • Background: management, humanistic, IT etc.

  • Level: beginner/intermediate.

  • Experience: at least some project management experience.

  • Strong motivation to be involved in EU project management.

  • Strong motivation to learn something new, persist and complete the course.

  • Time investment: 8 hours/week.

  • Solid EN language skills (reading, writing).


Roles and employment possibilities

Typically, EU project managers which completed this course work as researchers (applying for Horizon research projects), project managers in international consortiums, consultants (self-employed or at agencies), project managers in public administration (e. g. municipalities or ministries), project managers in innovative private companies, NGOs, cultural institutions, education institutions or work as freelancers.

  • 3 month access to the online classroom.

How is training delivered?

Online training is a 3-months course, available from anywhere. Depending on your previous knowledge, you will have to invest 5–10 hours per learning element (11 in total).

Technical requirements

E-learning

Any modern computer, tablet or smartphone is appropriate (for studying). The participant needs a web browser and internet connection. For assignment preparation, the Office software package (text editor and spreadsheet editor) is required. For tutor support, a headset is required.

For video sessions and webinars, a webcam and a headset are required.


Online exam

Any computer (Windows, Mac) with a webcam, microphone and latest webcam drivers. Please check the minimum system requirements.

3. Access to online classroom

After your registration and at the cohort start date, your e-learning account will be activated. You will also receive information on how to access learning materials and assignments.

4. Exam and certification

After you complete the course and all assignments, you can apply for the external ECQA exam and certificate (also free of charge for UA participants):

Exam

The examination is limited to 2 hours.

You will receive your ECQA certificate after you successfully pass the exam (ALL units).

Each unit threshold: 50%.

What do you get with a certificate?

With the certificate, you will be able to prove your suitability for participating in international projects as a trusted partner. It will also be easier for you to take over the coordination of European projects and international consortia.

The certificate also raises your value in the labour market. Getting a certificate is optional, for those who want more.

In some public national and EU tenders, it is possible to receive additional points for the selection of the submitted projects if the project is managed by a person with an ECQA certificate.

Frequently asked questions

How much time do I need to dedicate to the course?
It depends on your background. On average, 10–12 hours are needed to finish one learning element (of a total of 13).

What kind of questions can I expect in the ECQA exam?
Examples of multiple-choice questions in each lesson give you a good insight into the exam questions.

Can I download and print the materials for later use?
Of course, the materials are available in PDF format too.

How does online mentoring work?
On-demand. The participant prepares questions and issues, and informs the mentor. Afterwards, an online session (Google Meet) is held.
